E-TrikeKit™ Traditional Tricycle Conversion System
The E-TrikeKit™ is designed specifically for conventional upright adult tricycles and includes specialized components optimized for stable, predictable three-wheel riding.
This updated version of the E-TrikeKit now uses a 500W internally geared hub motor, replacing the previous heavy-duty direct-drive system that has been phased out.
The geared motor design provides strong low-speed torque, improved efficiency, lighter overall weight, and zero drag while pedaling without motor power.
Important change: Because this system now uses a geared hub motor, reverse functionality is no longer available. Reverse was only supported on the older direct-drive systems.
The system includes a programmable LCD display, 48V controller, pedal-assist, throttle control, and e-brake levers, providing smooth and predictable operation for upright adult tricycles.
Who is this system for? Riders using upright adult tricycles who want efficient power delivery, stable handling, and dependable everyday riding performance.
Battery options: This product may be configured with no battery, a 48V lithium-ion battery, or a battery plus mounting kit, depending on the selected variant.
Optional battery mounting kit: When selected, the mounting kit includes the battery mounting plate and hardware required to securely position the battery on compatible tricycle frames.

Battery & Mounting Information
When ordered with a battery, the system includes a 48V lithium-ion battery with a built-in mounting rail designed to attach using two standard water-bottle bosses.
Battery placement depends on the tricycle frame design and rider preference. Common mounting locations include the downtube area, a custom mounting plate, or a rear basket/rack configuration.
Optional battery mounting hardware is available on compatible tricycle models and configurations.

Shipping Notes
Battery shipping: When included, lithium-ion batteries ship separately via FedEx Hazmat and may require a delivery signature. It is normal for the kit and battery to arrive on different days.
