Kit - Traditional Tricycle

This Traditional Tricycle–specific E-BikeKit conversion system is designed to convert compatible upright adult tricycles into smooth, efficient, and responsive electric trikes.

The system includes a USA hand-built rear motor wheel, integrated SINET™ controller, 3.5″ color SINET™ LCD with USB charging port, 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, 3A charger, integrated-controller battery cradle, Traditional trike battery mounting plate and hardware, thumb throttle, locking e-brake levers, matched wiring, torque arm, and installation components.

Choose your pedal-assist system:

• Cadence Sensor: Activates motor assistance when crank rotation is detected.
• Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor: Measures rider effort and provides a smoother, more natural, proportional level of motor assistance.

Important Torque-Sensor Package Note: Many traditional adult tricycles use a single-piece crank configuration. When the Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor option is selected, the system automatically includes the additional parts required to convert the trike to a compatible two-piece crank configuration:

• Bottom bracket adapter set
• Compatible crankset
• Matching pedal set

These components are included automatically with the torque-sensor option and are shown in the product images.

The required selections are wheel size and pedal-assist type. The motor wheel, integrated controller, battery, charger, battery cradle, battery mounting plate, LCD, throttle, wiring, e-brake levers, and installation hardware are included with every Traditional conversion system.

Reverse Function: This geared hub motor system does not include reverse functionality.

The motor wheel includes a rim strip. Tire and tube are not included.

This Traditional Tricycle system requires two selections so the system can be configured correctly.

Cadence Sensor Option: Uses the supplied cadence sensor and pickup sensor.

Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor Option: Automatically includes the torque sensor, bottom bracket adapter set, compatible crankset, and matching pedals required to convert a single-piece crank configuration to a compatible two-piece crank arrangement.

Traditional tricycles vary by manufacturer, model, frame design, drivetrain, axle configuration, wheel size, and crank style. Confirm compatibility before installation.

Trikes that have been modified or differ from standard factory configurations may require additional parts or installation adjustments.

The Traditional conversion system uses matched SINET™ components and connectors to simplify installation on compatible upright adult tricycles.

• For the torque-sensor option, install the bottom bracket adapter set, compatible crankset, matching pedals, torque sensor, and extension cable
• Route and secure the SINET™ wiring harness, motor cable, and sensor wiring
• Verify axle-nut torque, torque-arm placement, brake operation, drivetrain alignment, and cable routing

Proper torque-arm installation, correct axle-nut torque, secure battery mounting, safe cable routing, and proper brake adjustment are essential for safe operation.

Professional bicycle-shop installation is recommended when the installer is not experienced with tricycle drivetrains, rear-wheel installation, brakes, electrical systems, torque arms, battery mounting, crank conversion, or bottom bracket service.
