E-BikeKit Spokes are designed specifically for EBK eyeletted rims and EBK hub motors. Each spoke is stainless steel and paired with a silver-colored brass nipple for strength and corrosion resistance.

The price is for one spoke and one nipple. All EBikeKit rims and hubs use 36 spokes per wheel.

Material: Stainless steel spokes, brass nipples

Gauge: 12g main shaft, single-butted to 13g at the threads

Usage: For EBikeKit eyeletted rims and EBK hub motor wheels (front or rear)

Compatibility:

• Available for all EBikeKit rim diameters (16", 20", 24", 26", 700c/29er)
• Dedicated spoke lengths for EBikeKit direct-drive (DD) and geared (GRD) hubs

Geared Motor Shell Note:
EBikeKit has used two different hub shells for 500W geared motors. Make sure you are ordering spokes for the correct hub type. For details, see:

Wheelbuilding is a skilled procedure and should only be performed by experienced wheel builders. We cannot provide support for custom rim/hub combinations. EBikeKit spokes are sized specifically for EBK eyeletted rims and EBK hubs.

• Use only the specified spoke lengths with EBK rims and hubs
• Do not mix these spoke lengths with non-EBK rims unless you are 100% certain of the required length
• If in doubt, have your local bike shop build the wheel, or use EBikeKit’s wheel building/refurbishing services

16" Small-Wheel Lacing (Radial Example):

16" Front:

• Head-out (standard) both sides
• Example: 67 mm left (disc) side – 12g nipple
• Example: 74 mm right side – 13g nipple

16" Rear:

• 74 mm left (disc) side, head-out – 13g nipple
• 67 mm right (drive) side, head-in – 12g nipple
