The ProMax Mechanical Disc Brake Caliper is uniquely designed for installations where standard calipers may not clear the side cover of a hub motor. If your current disc brake caliper is too thick to fit between the motor cover and the rotor, this caliper solves the problem with its thin-profile head.

Clearance Requirement: E-BikeKit direct-drive motors require a minimum **18mm** spacing between the rotor and the motor side cover. Standard calipers often exceed this thickness — this ProMax model does not.
