Motor Cables

• Motor cables for EBikeKit systems
• All are 10.4mm 9-pin at the controller side
• Motor-side available 10.4mm or 14.7mm, 9-pin or 8-pin
• Multiple lengths available

These motor cables connect EBikeKit hub motors to the system controller. Each cable uses a molded, weather-resistant connector and proper phase/hall wiring for EBK systems.

Important: Motor-side connectors come in different sizes and pin counts. Always compare your existing connector and length to the product images before ordering.

Controller Side (All Cables)

• Controller/harness end: 10.4mm round 9-pin plug (EBK small motor connector)

Motor Side & Length Options (Select via Dropdown):

• Motor Cable 67" (10.4mm to 10.4mm 9-pin)
  – Long cable for standard/performance 10.4mm 9-pin motors
  – Best for full-size bikes and trikes using the small EBK motor connector on both ends.
• Motor Cable 23" (10.4mm to 10.4mm 9-pin)
  – Short cable for compact frames or close-mounted controllers
  – Same 10.4mm 9-pin on both controller and motor ends.
• Motor Cable 67" (10.4mm to 14.7mm 9-pin)
  – Long adapter cable for newer motors with the larger 14.7mm 9-pin plug
  – 10.4mm 9-pin at the controller side → 14.7mm 9-pin at the motor side.
• Motor Cable 43" (10.4mm to 14.7mm 9-pin)
  – Medium-length adapter cable for recumbents, trikes, or mid-mount controllers
  – 10.4mm 9-pin at the controller side → 14.7mm 9-pin at the motor side.
• Motor Cable 12" (10.4mm to 14.7mm 9-pin)
  – Extra-short adapter cable when the controller is mounted close to the motor
  – 10.4mm 9-pin at the controller side → 14.7mm 9-pin at the motor side.
• Motor Cable 67" (10.4mm to 14.7mm 8-pin)
  – Long cable for legacy motors using the older 14.7mm 8-pin style plug
  – For older EBK motors where the motor-side plug has 8-pin internals.
• Motor Cable 12" (10.4mm to 14.7mm 8-pin)
  – Short cable for legacy 14.7mm 8-pin motors with close-mounted controllers
  – Useful for service/repair on older EBikeKit builds.

Note on 8-pin motor plugs: 14.7mm 8-pin connectors are for older, discontinued motor styles. These are maintained for service/replacement; all new production systems use 9-pin motor connectors.

Controller / Harness Side (All Cables):

• 10.4mm round 9-pin plug – EBK small motor connector

Motor Side (Varies by Cable):

• 10.4mm 9-pin: Small EBK connector, used on performance/geared motors and some compact DD systems.
• 14.7mm 9-pin: Larger “DD style” plug with 9 internal pins; current standard for new direct-drive and some newer motors.
• 14.7mm 8-pin (Legacy): Older-style plug used on discontinued EBK motors; maintained for repairs and service.

Tip for Dealers: If you’re unsure which connector your customer has, compare plug diameter and pin count to the product images, or have them send a close-up photo before ordering.
