A direct-drive hub motor is the correct choice for any combined load (bike + rider + cargo) of 300 lb or more. This HD configuration pairs a heavy-duty motor with a 48V battery and is speed-limited to 20 mph to increase torque, reliability, and long-term performance.

Direct-drive motors are strong, durable, and long-lasting thanks to zero internal friction and no moving planetary gears. Unlike cheaper direct-drive hubs, this E-BikeKit motor maintains smooth rotation with minimal resistance.

• Fork must be steel or reinforced aluminum capable of handling motor torque
• Disc or rim brakes supported

Not Compatible With:

• Front thru-axle forks
• Suspension forks with weak dropouts

This system installs using common bicycle tools and includes all necessary hardware.
