The E-BikeKit Fat Tad Conversion System is a complete model-specific electric conversion system engineered for the Sun Fat-Tad CXS tadpole recumbent trike.

Built around the latest SINET™ electronics, the system combines a powerful 20" fat rear geared hub motor with an integrated battery/controller cradle, full-color display, matched wiring, and model-specific installation components. The result is a clean, professional conversion with strong low-speed torque, responsive acceleration, and excellent mixed-terrain capability.

The 750W nominal / 1000W peak geared hub motor uses an internal planetary reduction and clutch. The clutch allows the wheel to turn with minimal drag when motor power is not being used, while the geared design provides strong hill-climbing performance, efficient power delivery, and precise low-speed control.

Frame production variations, existing accessories, prior modifications, and component wear may affect installation. The installer must verify dropout condition, rear spacing, brake alignment, freewheel compatibility, battery mounting location, and cable routing before completing the conversion.

The E-BikeKit Fat Tad Conversion System is intended for dealer installation or experienced bicycle mechanics.

• Remove the original rear wheel and confirm rear dropout condition and spacing
• Install the 20" fat rear motor wheel using the supplied spacing hardware
• Confirm proper 8-speed freewheel alignment and chain clearance
• Confirm disc rotor position and brake-caliper alignment
• Install both torque arms and tighten axle hardware properly
• Mount the integrated battery/controller cradle securely in an appropriate location
• Install and secure the included 48V 15Ah battery
• Install the SINET™ LCD using the included Topeak® BarXtender
• Install the thumb throttle and locking e-brake levers
• Install the selected cadence sensor or bottom bracket torque sensor
