Overview
This EZ-Tad–specific E-BikeKit system converts the Sunseeker EZ-Tad SX into a fast, smooth, and efficient electric tadpole trike using a 500W internally geared rear hub motor and an optional 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery pack.

The 500–1000W internally geared motor uses a 5:1 planetary drive paired with a clutch for zero-drag pedaling when unpowered. It delivers excellent efficiency, strong climbing torque, quicker response, and a smaller/lighter profile than equivalent direct-drive systems.
Who’s it for? Riders who want top-end performance, lightweight efficiency, and excellent torque delivery on the EZ-Tad chassis. Recommended for total system loads up to 300 lb (trike + rider + cargo).

Installation
The EZ-Tad system installs using basic bike tools and includes all required hardware for most stock frames.
- Motor wheel installs directly into the 135 mm rear dropouts

- PAS sensor mounts on the crank (left side standard)
- Locking parking-brake levers replace stock brake levers
- Torque arms must be installed and axle nuts torqued properly
- Battery must be securely mounted using appropriate hardware
