This EZ-3 HD–specific E-BikeKit conversion system is designed to convert the Sun EZ-3 USX HD delta trike into a powerful, durable, and responsive electric trike.

The system includes a USA hand-built 20″ front motor wheel, integrated SINET™ controller, 3.5″ color SINET™ LCD with USB charging port, 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, 3A charger, integrated-controller battery cradle, EZ-3 HD battery mounting plate, Topeak Bar Extender, throttle, locking e-brake levers, matched wiring, dual torque arms, and model-specific installation hardware.

Choose your pedal-assist system:

• Cadence Sensor: Activates motor assistance when crank rotation is detected.
• Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor: Measures rider effort and provides a smoother, more natural, proportional level of motor assistance.

The pedal-assist type is the only selection required. The motor wheel, integrated controller, battery, charger, battery cradle, EZ-3 HD mounting plate, Topeak Bar Extender, LCD, throttle, wiring, locking e-brake levers, and model-specific installation hardware are included with every EZ-3 HD conversion system.

The motor wheel is supplied with a rim strip. Tire and tube are not included.

Actual range varies based on rider weight, terrain, speed, temperature, tire pressure, pedal input, assist level, throttle use, and total system load. Heavy-duty loads will reduce range.

The bottom bracket torque sensor is designed for a 68 mm square-taper bottom bracket. Confirm bottom bracket compatibility before ordering the torque-sensor version.

Older trikes, modified frames, aftermarket accessories, or nonstandard components may require additional installation work or adjustments.

The EZ-3 HD conversion system uses matched SINET™ components and connectors to simplify installation on a compatible stock EZ-3 USX HD.

• Install the 20″ front motor wheel into the 100 mm front dropouts
• Install both supplied torque arms
• Torque the axle nuts to 35 ft-lb
• Install the EZ-3 HD battery mounting plate
• Mount the integrated battery/controller cradle securely to the mounting plate
• Install and secure the included 48V 15Ah battery
• Install the Topeak Bar Extender and mount the SINET™ LCD
• Install the thumb throttle and locking e-brake levers
• Install the selected cadence or bottom bracket torque sensor
• Route and secure the SINET™ wiring harness, motor cable, and sensor extension cable
• Verify axle-nut torque, torque-arm placement, brake operation, steering clearance, and cable routing

Proper installation of both torque arms, correct axle-nut torque, secure battery mounting, safe cable routing, and proper brake adjustment are essential for safe operation, especially under heavy-duty loads.

Professional bicycle-shop installation is recommended when the installer is not experienced with bicycle wheels, brakes, electrical systems, torque arms, battery mounting, or bottom bracket service.
