Overview
This Eco-Tad–specific E-BikeKit system converts the Sunseeker Eco-Tad SX tadpole trike into a lightweight, fast, and efficient electric trike using a 500W internally geared rear hub motor and a 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery pack.
- Special configuration tailored for the Eco-Tad SX
- Top speed up to approximately 26 mph
- Estimated 15–45 mile range depending on rider, terrain, and input
- Supports pedal-assist and throttle-on-demand
The 500–1000W geared motor uses a 5:1 planetary reduction and internal clutch for zero-drag pedaling, higher efficiency, strong hill-climbing torque, and a stealthy, compact motor profile compared to similar direct-drive motors.
Who’s it for? Riders looking for premium performance, low weight, and efficiency on the Eco-Tad platform. Recommended for total loads up to 300 lb (trike + rider + cargo).
