E-BikeKit Rear 750W Geared Hub Motor Conversion Kit for Fat Bikes with 48V 15Ah Lithium-Ion Battery Pack and 3A Charger.
The E-BikeKit 750–1000W geared system uses a 5:1 internal planetary reduction and an integrated clutch, allowing zero-drag pedaling when the motor is not engaged. Compared to direct-drive motors, the geared design offers better efficiency, higher starting torque, stronger hill-climbing ability, greater range in stop-and-go riding, and a more compact motor profile.
Fat-Bike Rear Dropout Spacing: This motor is assembled for 170 mm OLD with a 15 mm disc offset. It can also be spaced for 190 mm non-disc setups using supplied spacer washers. For 190mm fat bikes with disc brakes, rotor shims and longer rotor bolts may be used to achieve proper alignment. Default chainline is 64 mm. Add a freewheel spacer to increase chainline to 75 mm when needed.
Who’s it for? Riders seeking maximum torque, efficiency, stealth, and overall performance on fat-bike platforms requiring 170–190 mm spacing. Top speed is approximately 28 mph. System load limit is 300 lb (bike + rider + cargo). For higher total loads, consider a heavy-duty system.

This system is designed specifically for fat bikes using wide-frame rear spacing.
Compatible With:
- 170 mm rear dropout spacing (standard configuration)
- 190 mm frames (with additional spacing/shims)
- Fat-bike frames using threaded freewheels
- Frames with disc or non-disc configurations
Not Compatible With:
- Rear thru-axle fat-bike frames
- Frames designed exclusively for cassettes (not compatible with freewheels)
- IGH (internal geared hub) frames where the hub cannot be replaced

Installation
This fat-bike kit installs using common bike tools and includes specialized spacing hardware.
- Install the rear motor wheel into 170 mm or 190 mm dropouts (using supplied spacers as needed)
- Controller, LCD, and harness connect using matched plugs
- Mount the PAS disc and sensor (left side standard; right side available)
- Throttle and e-brake levers replace existing controls
- Install torque arms and tighten axle nuts to spec
- Battery must be mounted securely using an appropriate frame mount
- Rotor shimming may be required for 190 mm disc applications
Correct spacing, torque-arm installation, and clean cable routing are essential for safe, long-term performance.
