This Catrike-specific E-BikeKit conversion system is designed to convert compatible Catrike recumbent trikes into smooth, efficient, and responsive electric trikes.

The system includes a USA hand-built rear motor wheel, integrated SINET™ controller, 3.5″ color SINET™ LCD with USB charging port, 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, 3A charger, integrated-controller battery cradle, battery mounting system, Topeak Bar Extender, thumb throttle, locking e-brake levers, matched wiring, torque arm, selected freewheel, and Catrike-specific installation components.

Choose your pedal-assist system:

• Cadence Sensor: Activates motor assistance when crank rotation is detected.
• Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor: Measures rider effort and provides a smoother, more natural, proportional level of motor assistance.

Important Compatibility:

• Only compatible with Catrikes using standard slotted rear dropouts
• NOT compatible with Catrikes using rear thru-axles

The pedal-assist type, wheel size, freewheel, and rear dropout spacing must be selected. The integrated controller, battery, charger, battery mounting system, LCD, Topeak Bar Extender, throttle, wiring, e-brake levers, and installation hardware are included with every compatible Catrike conversion system.

Pedal-Assist Selection:

• Cadence Sensor: Split-disc cadence sensor and pickup sensor
• Bottom Bracket Torque Sensor: 68 mm square-taper bottom bracket torque sensor with the required extension cable

The motor wheel includes a rim strip. Tire and tube are not included.

Battery Mount: A battery mount is included. Frame diameter and mounting location must be confirmed so the correct mounting solution can be supplied.

This Catrike system requires several selections so the rear motor wheel and drivetrain components can be configured correctly.

Wheel size does not change the price. Freewheel and rear dropout selections are required because Catrike models vary by year, drivetrain, and frame configuration.

This conversion system is compatible with Catrike models using standard slotted rear dropouts.

Not Compatible With:

• Catrikes using rear thru-axles

General Compatibility Requirements:

• Standard slotted rear dropouts
• Compatible rear dropout spacing selected and confirmed
• Standard freewheel-compatible rear drivetrain
• Open rear dropouts rather than a rear thru-axle
• Compatible square-taper bottom bracket for the torque-sensor option
• Suitable frame location and diameter for the included battery mount

The bottom bracket torque sensor is designed for a 68 mm square-taper bottom bracket. Confirm bottom bracket compatibility before ordering the torque-sensor version.

Catrike models and production years vary. Contact us with the exact model, wheel size, drivetrain, rear dropout spacing, freewheel requirements, and frame configuration when compatibility is uncertain.

Older trikes, modified frames, aftermarket drivetrains, or nonstandard components may require additional installation work or parts.

The Catrike conversion system uses matched SINET™ components and connectors but requires correct wheel-size, freewheel, dropout-spacing, pedal-assist, and battery-mount selection.

• Confirm the selected wheel size matches the original trike configuration
• Confirm the selected rear dropout spacing before installing the motor wheel
• Confirm the selected freewheel matches the drivetrain and shifter
• Install the rear motor wheel and supplied torque arm
• Confirm correct axle seating, axle-nut torque, chain alignment, and derailleur adjustment
• Confirm disc rotor position and brake-caliper alignment when applicable
• Mount the integrated battery/controller cradle using the supplied battery mounting system
• Install the Topeak Bar Extender and mount the SINET™ LCD
• Install the MTB bar-end and position the thumb throttle clear of bar-end shifter cables
• Install the locking e-brake levers
• Install the selected cadence or bottom bracket torque sensor
• Route and secure the SINET™ wiring harness, motor cable, and sensor extension cable
• Verify brake cutoff, throttle, pedal assist, shifting, steering clearance, and cable routing before riding

Proper torque-arm installation, correct axle-nut torque, drivetrain alignment, secure battery mounting, and safe cable routing are essential for safe operation.

Professional bicycle-shop installation is recommended when the installer is not experienced with rear-wheel replacement, drivetrain setup, disc-brake alignment, electrical systems, torque arms, battery mounting, or bottom bracket service.
