This Catrike-specific E-BikeKit system converts compatible Catrike models into a lightweight, efficient electric recumbent trike using a 500W internally geared rear hub motor and an optional 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery pack.

Important Compatibility: This system is only for Catrike models with standard slotted rear dropouts. It is NOT compatible with newer Catrikes using rear thru-axles.

The 500–1000W geared motor uses a 5:1 internal planetary reduction and clutch bearing, allowing zero drag when pedaling without motor power. Compared to a direct-drive motor, it offers greater efficiency, stronger low-speed torque, improved hill-climbing ability, lighter weight, and a smaller, stealthier appearance.

Who’s it for? Riders seeking high-performance assist with efficient power delivery and a discreet, lightweight setup. Ideal for total system loads up to 300 lb (trike + rider + cargo).

PAS & Bottom Bracket Notes:

• External-bearing cranksets use split 64/74 BCD magnet + right-side PAS sensor
• Square-taper cranks generally use the standard left-side PAS disc
• Sensor legs may require trimming on certain Catrike frames
